KENDALL COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN GENERAL MEETING

January 12, 2010

• President Norma Duncan called the meeting to order at noon.

• The invocation was given by Secretary Bonnie Miertschin; the pledges were led by County Treasurer Medana Crow.

• Recognition of elected officials and special guests was given by President Duncan.

• There were 58 people in attendance.

• The November Board and General Meeting minutes, as well as the December Christmas Luncheon minutes, were presented and approved.

• The treasurer’s report was submitted and will be filed with the secretary’s report.

• Campaign Activities Chairperson, Fran Graves, advised us that KCRW and KCRC will sponsor a candidates’ forum on February 16, 2010, at the Boerne Middle School from 6 until 9 p.m.

• Vice President Sheryl Holland introduced our guest speaker, Toni Anne Dashiell—past KCRW president, past TFRW president and unchallenged 2010 candidate for Kendall County Republican Chairperson.  Toni Anne spoke to us about the importance of our precinct, county and state conventions and explained to us when they happen how they work.

• The meeting was adjourned by 1 p.m.
